Signing Milk

Besides "Mum Mum" when the little one gets hungry, En En now signs milk when she is hungry too! Mommy's effort has paid off hehehe

Ba Lu Ku :~(

The little one slipped and knocked her head when standing up on her own.

Her very first BA LU KU. Poor gal, look at that tears in her eyes. But nothing venture, nothing gain. Sure gotta suffer a few knocks before she'll learn how.

Stand Up!

BB En can stand up on her own! Another milestone... Yipee!
She's one ambitious gal too - letting go of her hands and try to walk without help/ support! Slowly ok... one step at a time my dear. =)

Bye Bye

The little one knows how to bye bye now. She was still doing the reverse bye last week. Finally got it right after a week's practice hehe.

Snacks

Found this japanese baby snacks in NTUC tuck in one corner of the Japanese food section. Something similar to Pigeon's fish cracker except this is vegetable. More crispy than Pigeon too. BaoBei loves it!

Da-Da

To our surprise, the little one calls out Da-Da when she sees her Daddy. Wowee! Daddy is so delighted and grins from ear to ear when he hears Ah Ger calls him. Haha.

We were still wondering if "Daddy" is too difficult for her to pronounce, and if we should teach her to call JR Pa-Pa. Apparently, it's just our unfounded worries. =)

En En's first front tooth cutting through the gum. The 2nd tooth is on the way!

Cargo Pants

En En's first time wearing pants - Have decided to dress her in a rugged cum tomboy look today for a short shopping trip. She looks cute with the "bulky" buttock haha.

Fruit for the day

En En's first attempt at diced apple. The little one is learning how to chew. She enjoys it!

BB En falls sick again!

BB En caught a sniffle on Fri. She was dry coughing and having slight runny nose. Thot will monitor her condition... but during the night, she was coughing badly with lots of phlegm. Poor girl (& poor mommy) couldn't sleep through the night.

Both of us woke up with puffy eyes in the morning and we hurriedly wash up, had breakfast and pack bag. Its Sat morning and we did not make any appt. Dunno how long we gonna wait by walking in...

We reached the clinic at 8.30am. Wow! Daddy drove fast today... jus took 20mins for us to reach TMC keke. We got #51 - the walk-in queue no. The nurse told us Dr Ong is on standby coz a newborn gonna pop out anytime in the labour ward. Oh No!!! Dunno how long we gonna wait . Dr Ong went off in the midst and came back shortly in his surgeon wear. Got a feeling he's going back anytime again.

We waited till 10.20am... BB En is nao-gai-ing. Its nap time.

"OH XUAN EN" - the nurse called out. "You're next."

Oops! BB En gonna make noise later for disturbing her beauty sleep. True enough, she got so annoyed when Dr Ong made her lie down to inspect her throat that she kicked and punched and cried. Haha. Dr Ong was abit taken back by her reaction.

"Dun bring BB out this weekend hor... BB needs rest."

Okay so no gai-gai this weekend.

Ma-Ma

The little one calls Ma-Ma !!! It's such a strange and wonderful feeling to hear Ah Ger calls Ma-Ma. So heartwarming *hmmm* *grins*

Straw Drinking

The little one wasn't sure what to do when I put the straw into her mouth. She just open her mounth wide, not even closing it.
Mommy makes a few "shoo-ed shoo-ed"sound and BB En sucks the water up the straw!
Wow! A round of applause! Clap! Clap!

Bedtime Story

The little one exploring her bedtime storybook. She likes to feel the different texture and is curious about the different sounds that the animals make.

Gong Xi ! Gong Xi !

BB En knows how to "Gong Xi Gong Xi !"

Granny says the little one first started doing it to the neighbour staying opposite yesterday.
And the little one will make the action whenever anyone says "Gong Xi Gong Xi" after.

Daddy and Mommy haven't been teaching her this... so muz be Granny la.
But Granny insists she hasn't been teaching her.
Huh? No? Then? Genius En wahahaha !!!

After some thoughts on the way home, Mommy reaches a conclusion :
Muz be Granny... mabbe Granny wasn't conscious that the little one is picking it up when she did the action occassionally to BB En.

Good work Granny n BB En !

P/S: A few days later.... according to Yi Yi... its actually Grandpa! The grandpa has been bringing Bao Bei to the altar and "GONG BI GONG BI" to DA BO GONG everyday.

Separation Anxiety

BB En starts to show sign of separation anxiety. The little one starts to cry when Daddy and Mommy leave Granny's house... the crying sound pains Mommy's heart.

Both Mommy and EnEn gotta learn how to cope with this separation anxiety...

Lunch n Dinner for the Day

Chicken + carrot + corn

BB En just turns 9mths... and Granny says its time she eats 2 porridge meals.

So here's BB En's schedule :

8am : Milk + brown rice cereal feed
8.30am : Bath time
9.30am : Biscuits or Fruits
10 am : Nap
12 noon : Porridge
2.30pm : Milk feed
3pm : Nap
5.30pm : Bath time
6.00pm : Porridge
9.30pm : Milk feed
