EnEn is walking round and round the house !!!

To YiYi's new Abode

YiYi is almost done renovating her new place and invites grandpa and grandma and us to her new place.  Specially dress the little one up for this family event.

It's known that the little one likes buttons.  However, can't imagine that she likes them to the extent that she couldn't take her hands off  the big buttons on her white jacket.  Her hands are in the same exact position throughout the car journey.

YiYi's new place is mainly black, white and grey.  And a touch of Baroque style in the master bedroom... Mommy's dream house!

It suddenly begins to rain and the little one says... xia1 yu2.  Sounds like an ang moh speaking chinese wahhaha.  Mommy has to correct her slang soon hehe.

Pasir Ris Park

Brought BB En to Pasir Ris Park again this weekend.  She's enjoying herself more and seems to be in parallel play with the kids.  

Mommy learns this term (parallel play) recently via the Motherhood magazine.  Parallel play means observing how older children play and learn how to play.  This is a stage whereby all toddlers go through... occur between 1 to 2 year old.

It's a good exposure for the little one hehe.  Shall find more ways to expose her to play opportunities.

Gathering !

Uncle Zhihao and Auntie Jaimie invited long time friends to their house for a gathering.  It's a nice feeling to see everyone(omost) and catching up with each other.  Mommy is especially surprise to see Heap Yong... its been good 10 years since Mommy last saw him!  Wow!!! and Mommy is very touched this old friend still remember that Mommy is allergic and bought a good tasty coffee cake for all !

En behaves good and easily keeps herself entertain.  She's comfy with the aunties and uncles and let them carry her... wow!  Mommy is surprised! hehe

 

Pasir Ris Park n Macdonald

To celebrate the little one turning 16 month old (*shucks Feb has only 28 days!*), Daddy n Mommy brought out little precious to Pasir Ris Playground.  

Our little one enjoys herself thoroughly with the slide, balancing beam, fire engine, etc.  She likes the slide a lot.  The slide is a bit steep to climb up and she keeps sliding down halfway.  But the determined little one endeavours and she manages her way up after a few slips. 

The little one walks around the park... first time seeing so many things on the ground - leaves, twigs, grass and BIG black ants.  She keeps her eyes busy on the ground throughout.

Daddy brought Mommy n EnEn to Macdonald to have Macdonald breakfast.  En's first HOTCAKE. =)

The little one can now express her preference. When Mommy asks "Do you want bread or biscuit?" She'll indicate her preference instead of repeating Mommy's last word in the sentence.
The little one will try to action when she hears action songs. Eg, She'll clap when Mommy sings "if you are happy and you know it clap your hands", stamp her feet when Mommy sings "if you are happy and you know it stamp your feet"...... and a few other songs too!

New toy from Baby Fair

The annual BabyCare festival is held 27th Feb, 28th Feb n 1st Mar at Expo.  Mommy and her mommy-colleagues cheong to Expo when lunch time strikes.  Nestle finally has sale for its milk powder!!!  Mommy grabs some milk powder and cereal and is given a freeibie bag hehe.

Mommy also saw the below selling at way below Retail price.  Bought them for En's future intellectual development.

En's first few steps!

Our little princess takes her first few steps =)  Daddy n Mommy are both very delighted !!!  And are happy that the little one is improving week by week.

En's new haircut

EnEn has a new hairdresser... and the person is... *Drum roll*... MOMMY !!!

Granny and Grandma have been nagging Mommy that the little one's fringe is too long.  So Mommy decides to take things her own way and give the lttle one a new haircut.  Not too bad right kekeke

Thinking out of the Box

BB En couldn't get one of the shapes into the shape sorter.  She tried for some time but just couldn't get it in.  Pek Cek... she opened the cover, put it in and closed the cover.  Presto!  The shape is IN the box.

Mega Bloks

Mommy bought Mega Bloks for the little one some time back.  It helps in develop hand eye coordination and also, allows individual's creativity !

CNY Outing

Daddy n Mommy took BB En for a CNY outing @ Vivo City.  All girls like flowers and En is no exception.  She was very excited when she saw the many flowers surrounding the big lantern display.  While admiring the flowers, a little boy came over and tried to hold En's hands.  Wee O Wee !   

BakerZ Inn is having a promo for its hot choco fudge , so Daddy gave Mommy n En a treat !

Mommy also ordered BakerZ Inn's signature cake - Strawberry Shortcake and En likes the cake!  Keep nodding her head with every mouth of it.

It's CNY again ! Mommy dressed En in the little sailor dress that Daddy bought from Tommy Hilfiger. The happy family of 3 went to a number of house visitings today. Had to cut down this year cause the little one missed her nap and was too tired.

Reunion Dinner

We have a special reunion dinner this year... with Mommy's grandparents.  Mommy's grandma had a fall and fractured her hand, so couldn't cook this year.  Hence Granny asked the 2 elderly over for a 4 generation gathering ho ho ho~!  En receives early ang pows from her great grandparents and grandparents hehe

En had rice + dou fu + steam fish + pig's leg tendon + pig's stomach soup for her reunion dinner.

Gymbabe ~ Lesson 12

It's BB En's last lesson today... So Mommy tones down on her activities and let her enjoys her fav ~ Sea of Balls.  The little one has her fun kicking and rumbling through them.

En has a special motivating sticker at end of class today.

Haircut for CNY

Gymbabe ~ Lesson 11

Unfamiliar trainer faces are seen today.  Noticed one of them is a trainer for the toddler class.  This trainer managed to get En through the tunnel (!!!) after many failed attempts by Mommy. Impressed!  

Mommy n En have a fun time at the end of session ~ chasing after bubbles.  En glees with delight~ !

Seeing En still bustling with energy, Mommy n Daddy brought the little one to the nearby playground to have a go at the slide.  En likes to slide down and will attempt to crawl up thereafter.
