New Clothes

Daddy n his colleagues went to a warehouse sale today... selling precious moment and forever friends bear clothings @ 3 for $10 !!!  Real cheap!  The clothings are retailing at $19.90.  Daddy grabs a few pieces for his little precious =)

Dinner at IKEA

Grandpa and YiYi decide to drop by our place to play with the little one and also to have dinner together before heading for the airport to pick Granny up.

Grandpa drives us to IKEA where we have our meatballs and chicken wings... SLURP!  and of coz... the soft ice cream!!!  The little one is amused by the trolley spotlight in IKEA and tries to chase it in circle.

Daddy decides to bring Mommy n BB En to another field trip today! And this time, our destination is .... ZOO !

It's BB En's first encounter with animals and she's curious about the many that she sees. Luckily, we manage to catch one animal show ~ Seals.

Gymbabe ~ Lesson 4

It's Sunday again! Playgroup time~! Class is smaller today. So BB En gets to have more time at each station. The stations are rearranged again to let the Gymbabes face different "challenges". The main thing is still to develop their social and cognitive skills.

BB En does good today as she tries to climb the ladder and walk on the plank. According to the trainers, the height are magnified 3 times in babies' world. So its a good test on "fear factor" haha.

One of the activities is to let BB En walks whilst holding the poles. Mommy makes her walk up and down obstacles to test if she keeps a lookout at where she's going. EnEn Pass!

Pasta ~ Yum!

Mommy decides to let BB En try Pasta, using Heinz's beef & vegetable casserole as the base coz it has all the necessary ingredients + nutrition. The smell of the beef is too strong for the little one. Shall let her try a few more time to get used to it.

Sentosa! ~ Wowee ~!

Daddy and Mommy decides to bring BB En for her first field trip today.  And our destination --

Our first stop: UnderWater World.  At the entrance, a few peacocks and peahens walk around carefree.  The little one is very excited and keeps saying "Bird Bird Bird Bird... ".  First time she sees such beautiful bird.  Mommy corrects her and says its a "Peacock" and BB En goes "Cock Cock Cock".

Entering the UnderWater World, we sees huge aquariums of fishes and sea creatures.  We are standing near one when a GIGANTIC fish suddenly swim towards us and BB En got a scare.  She hangs on tight to Mommy.  Thereafter BB En doesn't show interests in the fishes... she seems to like the "Birds" more. =P

The UnderWater World is packed with tourists, so family of 3 decides to proceed to Dolphin show.  On the way along the beach, the "Close to Animals" show is on, so Daddy n Mommy brought the little one to see her first animal show.  The parrot is on!  Just nice, the little one says "Bird Bird Bird".  Happy gal coz can see bird again. =)

By the time the animal show ends, the dolphin show has started halfway and its such a long walk down to the end of the beach.  Daddy n Mommy decides to take a break and take pics at the hanging bridge instead.  Quite a number of tourists and school children on field trips today.  Gota squeeze abit when crossing the bridge.

BB En misses her afternoon nap and the tired BB dozes off while strolling along the beach.

Daddy suggests to watch "Songs of the Sea" - Musical Fountain show since we are there.  Nice show!  But BB En and a couple of kids got scared by the laser display and symphony orchestra all start at the same time !  Took Mommy awhile to pacify the little one.

Family of 3 has a happy time today.  Looking forward to another field trip =)

Granny on Hols ~

Granny is going for hols ~ so Mommy is on leave to look after the little one 24-7. Whooh!

We start Day 1 with the below food menu ... *drum roll*

Tea Break for the day : Mini Pandan Chiffon from Prima Deli. The little one finishes 2 !

Lunch for the day: Mee Sua cook in homemade stock (potato + carrot + tomato + pork) + spinach

Dinner for the day: Porridge + pork + broccoli + pumpkin

We went to airport to see Granny and aunties and cousin-aunties & uncle off. Christmas is nearing and the deco theme for Changi Airport is Mickey Disney. The little one is extremely excited when she sees the cartoon characters and the giant candy house =)

Lunch for the day

It's time to broaden BB En's food horizon. So mommy cooked some macaroni in homemade stock + some spinach for the little one. Yummy she likes it and she whips them up fast! Something different from her usual porridge =)

GymBabe ~ Lesson 3

Class is BIG today. BB En has 8 classmates - 3 from last week class, 3 for trial & 1 from Sat class. With the gymbabes' parents and some gymbabes' grandparents, the gym is packed ! Though trainers have requested that only one parent per babe is allowed due to overwhelming crowd today... but nobody cares haha.

Lesson starts with new massaging exercises and well, its not a good day for a few of us, mommies. Either the babes are cranky for nap, or they are uncomfortable with the large crowd. The orchestra starts from one and follows on... BB En gets tick off by Daddy for putting toy into her mouth and her symphony starts. Gosh ! And it lasts for quite some time. Finally managed to coax the little one and we start on her gym stations.

The trainers have redesigned the stations and this week, the focus is on walking and balancing. BB En has a go at a wooden plank - Walking and balancing on small area. BB En cruises well on it. Mommy & BB En tried a station with a little more difficulty - a plank that is hedged at a gentle angle. Good try!

En is made to climb up a block next. Main focus is to teach her buttock down first when getting down from height. Hmm En needs to polish on that.
Lesson ends with new tone down exercises and a new motivating sticker !

En has Crocs! Mommy bought them during recent Crocs sale. Woosh ! Good buy !

GymBabe ~ Lesson 2

Little En receives her goody bag today which includes a personalised TumbleTots T (which she has to wear for her subsequent lesson). En's first "school uniform" WOW !


Lesson 2 starts with warming up exercise in the central exercise mat. Little En has more classmates today. 1 which switch from Saturday class, 2 for trial & her last week classmate. There is one less trainer today, so the 2 trainers were kept busy with today's turnout.

We first started off with the station that En did well last week ~ the "catwalk" station. To warm the little one up so that she knows what to expect later. En has so many classmates today and she's a bit distracted. Took us awhile before we accomplish the task.

Then we tried the "pitches" station. En did well this time ! She managed to overcome them and move to the end. Well done!

The little one was tired so we put her into the "pool" to chill out. She met her last week classmate and both had some fun.

We put the little one on the "beam" station and she did well ! With the help of little red ball, she managed to crawl on the beam to the little house. At the end of the beam, the little one is suppose to turn around and buttocks down first to come down to ground level. Still brushing up her skills on this.

Next, the trainer gave En a red barrel. En is to push the barrel and walk at the same time. Mommy's role is to control the roll of the barrel. En had lotsa fun with it and she did great !

By this time, Mommy is getting tired and decides to let the little one has a little fun on the bouncer. She sits there playing with the alpha blocks while Mommy bounces her on it. Purpose is to let the little one has some thrill of bouncing.

The trainer came over and gave En two poles, where she has to hold onto them and walk. EnEn did it !!! Daddy n Mommy are both very impressed by the little one. She is able to coordinate her hand and leg and walk for quite some distance.

The little one is bursting with energy and attempts to climb up the ladder. BB En isn't sure how to go up. Mommy has to guide her to lift her hand and leg to move up. And En learn fast ! She'll attempt to move up coordinating her hand and leg and moving upwards.

By now, lesson is ending. And its massaging + cool down time.
