It's CNY again ! Mommy dressed En in the little sailor dress that Daddy bought from Tommy Hilfiger. The happy family of 3 went to a number of house visitings today. Had to cut down this year cause the little one missed her nap and was too tired.

New Clothes

Daddy n his colleagues went to a warehouse sale today... selling precious moment and forever friends bear clothings @ 3 for $10 !!!  Real cheap!  The clothings are retailing at $19.90.  Daddy grabs a few pieces for his little precious =)

Mommy bought this through a spree that Auntie Jennifer organised some time back.

En has Crocs! Mommy bought them during recent Crocs sale. Woosh ! Good buy !

姨姨 is now Mrs Wong ~

It's 姨姨's big day today! The Chua family now has a new addition.

Dress the little one in Mommy's fav- OshKosh strip dress + a little hair clip. BB En first time wearing clip and she looks so feminine! =)

The newly wed book a table for the 2 families at Tung Lok Signatories (@ Central). Nice food, nice ambience and fabulous service ! =)

EnEn's 1st Birthday Celebration !

EnEn is turning ONE ! Daddy n Mommy decides to have an early mini birthday celebration for BB En - celebrating the special day only with immediate family members. =)

Mommy decides to theme the party - Pooh Bear and Friends coz EnEn likes Pooh Bear. Not an easy task coz Pooh cake topper is not sold locally and Mommy has had a hard time looking for one. Ordered a black forest cake from Pine Garden ~ their signature cake (which is ranked 3rd by Straits Times). Delicious ~!!! Not for kids though... because of the alcohol.


The Star of the Day is happy and joyous seeing so many people, amusing them with her funny tricks. The little one looks sweet in her blue flowery OshKosh dress. She shys and hides when birthday song is sung.

Daddy, Mommy and BB En

Chinese Birthday

It's BB En's chinese birthday today - 九月十九.
The little one might have known this is her BIG day coz she refuses to take her morning nap and is full of zest and energy.

Granny wants to get En new clothings but dunno what to get... so Mommy let Granny have the dress that was originally plan for Yi-Yi's ROM - the colorful striped OshKosh dress.

BB En receives well wishes from many on this special day - Grandparents, Daddy, Mommy, Yi-Yi, Jiu-Jiu and Auntie Joycelyn =)

Mommy took En for her 3rd and final Prevenar jab in the afternoon. En's reaction to the jab was not as bad as the previous 2... thanks to Dr Daniel Wee who offered her a Pooh Bear sticker.


En's first sticker and is a Pooh Bear! See the sticker that she's holding on with her left hand? That's the one. She holds onto it tightly and simply refuses to let go.

She has also been trying to remove the plaster on her thigh but couldn't.

How can we forget the below on this special occasion? The playful mommy decides to have a bit of fun on this day ( 抓周)

Kerropi pants ~

Bought this kerropi tights for the little one to wear. It's an amusing sight when seeing her cruising around in it hehe

T3 ~ Here we come again !

Ah Ger's first trip to T3 was when she's 6 months old. That was when daddy 心血来潮 and decided to bring mommy and little one there to jalan jalan. Still remember meeting Eadric and wifey and their little handsome son.

This time round, we came with a purpose - to get Ah Ger's first pair of shoes - to wear when she turns one on her Chinese birthday. (According to old people, can only let bb wear shoes when they turn one plus the first pair must be bought by maternal grandma). After scouting around for past weeks, mommy decided to get a pair of soft soled leather shoe from Colette. Our first choice, which is a red pair of mary jane look alike - OOS. We settled for the 2nd choice, pink color.

Ah Ger wasn't very cooperative when trying shoes on for her. She kept kicking them off. Shop lady commented that mommy should have let her start wearing few months back... then she won't feel awkward. But then again, didn't the PDs recommend not to, so that the little feet can grow and develop naturally ? So contradicting... Oh nemind, she'll get used to the shoes.

Prezzies from Taipei

Daddy n Mommy just got back from a short getaway from Taipei. Bought these stuff for little En. Like the hair brush especially coz we had it personalised for BB En.

Cargo Pants

En En's first time wearing pants - Have decided to dress her in a rugged cum tomboy look today for a short shopping trip. She looks cute with the "bulky" buttock haha.

Anklet

BB En's anklet! Yippee! Thanks to both Joycelyn and her mommy for their help in getting it!!! Will find one "auspicious" day to put it on for the little one. At least can know where the little one crawls to now! =p

En En's new clothings - Part 1

Bao Bei's Yi Yi bought lots of clothings for the little one from her recent US trip. Most of them are from Osh Kosh/ Gap/ Tommy Hilfiger/ Polo Ralph... Mommy has to control and not buy any more! No place to hang her clothes.. hehe. Daddy will scream if they take up too much of his cupboard space.

I like the rainbow strip dress in the first pic especially. Shall let the little one wear it when Yi Yi ROM.

Baby Bjorn Carrier

Mommy decides to invest in a good carrier coz mommy has difficulty managing the stroller when going down escalator. After going through reviews from online mommies, mommy decides to get the latest model of Baby Bjorn carrier - Synergy ( A combination of special feature of Baby Bjorn Air and Baby Bjorn Active).

The Synergy comes in cloth mesh (feature of Baby Air) so as to allow better air ventilation as it is designed for long hours of carry. A special back support is incorporated so as to better distribute the weight across shoulder and back from long hours of carry (feature of Baby Active).
The carrier is user friendly as it allows one-man operation. This is an impt feature as mommy often has to carry BB En out alone to do grocery.

Good investment! =)

Happy Chinese New Year !

Today is the first day of Chinese Lunar year. First time Bao Bei taking ang pows ! So JR bought her a nice OshKosh dress from his recent US trip. Well it's supposed to be a top for 3 year old. But it still fits nice as a dress for her. It's Bao Bei's first time wearing dress !

Capella Stroller!

Daddy finally agreed to get a new stroller for BB En. And its his first spend on her! =)
We have a pass down APRICA stroller, but it couldn't go down flat. This isn't good for the spine development for Ah Ger. So after much persuasion, Daddy finally relented. We asked around and find that most frens are using Capella. They advised it is good enough as the little one might not want to sit anymore when she learn to walk.

So the family of 3 happily trot down to Baby Kingdom at Kaki Bukit. The sales person recommended Combi at first. However, we just need a simple stroller that mommy can handle. So being budget conscious and after hearing advise from frens, we decide to stick to Capella.

Hehe it's a good buy!
